Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Policy Statement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Fame Transportation is a transportation-arrangement platform that connects riders with licensed, independent charter-party carriers operating under valid California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) TCP permits. Our registered address is 4001 Inglewood Ave., Suite 233, Redondo Beach, CA 90278. Fame Transportation is a brand operated by Manifest Idea Technologies Inc..

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.

Fame Transportation arranges transportation provided by independent third-party drivers and operators. All drivers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Fame Transportation. Each driver maintains and carries their own insurance and their own CPUC TCP permit.

Fame Transportation does not itself provide transportation and is not a carrier. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fame Transportation is not liable for the acts, omissions, or conduct of independent contractors, including their driving, delays, or interactions with passengers.

Fares are quoted as a fixed price before you book, based on the route, vehicle class, time, and any applicable peak-hour or round-trip adjustments. The quoted fare covers the ride only. Gratuity (tips) is not included in the price and is at your discretion. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, tolls, airport fees, or surcharges unless stated otherwise.

Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor. By booking, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the fare and any fees permitted under these Terms (including cancellation, cleaning, damage, or no-show fees). All amounts are in U.S. dollars.

To be eligible for a refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup are not eligible for a refund.

A cancellation fee of 20% of the fare applies to cancellations. Eligible refunds are issued to your original payment method.

We provide every passenger a grace period of 15 minutes from the scheduled pickup time. If a passenger has not appeared or made contact within 15 minutes, the driver may cancel the trip and no refund will be issued.

You must accurately state the number of passengers and pieces of luggage when booking. Parties exceeding sedan capacity (more than 4 passengers or more than 7 bags) require an SUV. Failing to report your passenger or luggage count accurately may result in your ride being cancelled and a fee charged, as the assigned vehicle may be unable to accommodate your party.

You agree to:

• Behave lawfully and treat your driver with respect;
• Wear seatbelts and follow the driver's safety instructions;
• Not bring illegal substances, weapons, or hazardous materials into the vehicle;
• Refrain from smoking or vaping in the vehicle;
• Provide and properly install any required child safety seats, which are the passenger's responsibility.

You are responsible for any damage or excessive mess you cause, and a cleaning or damage fee may be charged. Service animals are welcome as required by law; other animals are accommodated only by prior arrangement.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time, including for safety concerns, intoxication, abusive or threatening behavior, unlawful conduct, exceeding stated vehicle capacity, or violation of these Terms. No refund is owed where service is refused or ended for these reasons.

We are not in control of traffic or natural disasters. We are not responsible or liable for delays, interruptions, or failures to perform caused by conditions beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road or airport closures, accidents, acts of God, natural disasters, labor disputes, or government action. We are not liable for missed flights, connections, or other consequential losses.

If you experience an issue with a driver, please contact us. We will investigate complaints and may suspend or cancel a driver's account depending on the seriousness of the complaint.

Fame Transportation is not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle. We will make reasonable efforts to help you recover lost items but cannot guarantee their return.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fame Transportation and Manifest Idea Technologies Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the ride giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fame Transportation, Manifest Idea Technologies Inc., and their officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Each independent contractor driver is required to maintain their own commercial automobile insurance and a valid CPUC TCP permit. By using the Service, you acknowledge that transportation is provided by these independently insured and permitted carriers.

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive booking-related communications by email and text message (such as confirmations and driver updates). Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time.

We collect and process personal information (such as your name, contact details, trip details, and payment information) to provide and improve the Service. We share information with drivers and service providers only as needed to fulfill your booking. For questions about your data, contact us at bookings@fametransportation.com.

The Service, including its content, branding, and software, is owned by Manifest Idea Technologies Inc. and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our permission.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and our Policy Statement at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and you and Fame Transportation waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by notifying us in writing at bookings@fametransportation.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Nothing here limits either party's right to bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Policy Statement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fame Transportation regarding the Service.
