These are the key policies for riding with Fame Transportation. They are part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
Cancellations & refunds
Cancel at least 24 hours before your pickup to be eligible for a refund. A 20% cancellation fee applies. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup are not refundable.
15-minute grace period
Every passenger gets a 15-minute grace period at pickup. If you have not arrived or made contact within 15 minutes, the driver may cancel and no refund is issued.
Accurate passenger & luggage count
Please state your number of passengers and bags accurately when booking. Parties over 4 passengers or 7 bags require an SUV. Inaccurate counts may result in your ride being cancelled and a fee charged, since the assigned vehicle may not fit your party.
Gratuity
Tips are not included in the fare and are always at your discretion.
Right to refuse service
We reserve the right to refuse or end service for safety, intoxication, abusive behavior, unlawful conduct, or exceeding the vehicle's capacity. No refund is owed in these cases.
Delays, traffic & natural events
We are not in control of traffic or natural disasters and are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road or airport closures, or other events beyond our control. Please allow ample time for your flight.
Independent drivers & insurance
All drivers are independent contractors who carry their own insurance and CPUC TCP permits. Fame Transportation is not liable for the actions of independent contractors.
Driver complaints
Have an issue with a driver? Contact us — we investigate every complaint and may suspend or cancel a driver's account depending on the seriousness of the issue.
Conduct, smoking & damage
No smoking or vaping in vehicles, and no illegal items. You are responsible for any damage or excessive mess; a cleaning or damage fee may apply. Child safety seats are the passenger's responsibility.
Lost & found
We are not responsible for items left in a vehicle but will make reasonable efforts to help you recover them.
Changes to our policies
We reserve the right to update our Policy Statement and Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect when posted.
